Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

LucidBit builds software that respects your machine and your privacy. This policy describes how our applications handle your data — which, by design, is very little.

The short version

Our apps are 100% on-device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on remote servers. Everything stays on your Mac.

Data collection

LucidBit applications do not collect personal information. Specifically:

  • No analytics or telemetry are transmitted off your device.
  • No account creation or login is required.
  • No usage data, crash reports, or diagnostics are sent to LucidBit or any third party.

Local data storage

Some apps store preferences and usage history locally on your device in order to function. This data never leaves your Mac and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the application.

App Store purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. LucidBit does not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.

Third-party services

Our applications do not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services.

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy in a meaningful way, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Given the nature of our software, we don't anticipate significant changes.
